At Neuro-Inclusivity we champion the strengths of neurodiverse employees and build awareness and skill in the workplace.  Neurodiverse brains work in a different way to neurotypical people. so far many workplaces are still to learn how to harness neurodiverse strengths for the benefits of all.

At least 20% of the UK’s adult populations are considered to be neurodiverse

But what does the term Neurodiversity mean? It as an umbrella term for a number of conditions including:

• Autism (ASD / ASC)

• Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or attention deficit disorder (ADD)

• Dyslexia

• Dyscalculia

• Dyspraxia or developmental coordination disorder (DCD)

These diagnoses can be made in childhood or adulthood and increasingly leaders are recognising the strengths and alternative viewpoint from neurodiverse employees.

At a time when the recruitment, and retention of great staff is challenging, and the need for innovation and cognitive diversity is increasingly making a “difference” to businesses, knowing how to harness neurodiverse skills has become vitally important to employers.
